Passage to Fort St Elmes located on the heights of Collioure. This Fort is a signal tower built in the 13th century. Descent to Port Vendres, visit to the dynamic fishing and commercial port. Further on, you will discover the Redoute B\u00e9ar which dominates the entrance to the port, built in the 18th century according to the plans of the architect Vauban. Then, you will arrive at the B\u00e9ar lighthouse, built in 1904, located 80 meters above the sea. It measures 24 meters high and was built in pink marble from Villefranche. Nestled between Cap B\u00e9ar and Cap Oullestrell, Paulilles Cove reveals a landscape of contrast between the world of vines and that of the sea. This former industrial wasteland, considered today as one of the most beautiful jewels of the Catalan coast, escaped a vast marina project which was to cover with its elitist luxury the moving traces of Paulilles\u2019 past and destroy the inestimable natural beauty of this place. You will cross the magnificent vineyard of Banyuls sur Mer with its dry stone walls and its impressive rainwater drainage system. Via a rocky path interspersed with scree, you will arrive at the Col de la Rumpissa (538 m). Border marker no. 597. After an ascent, you arrive at Querroig (670 m). A unique panorama unfolds before your eyes, from distant Canigou which tears through the azure to Cap Creus which plunges into the sea. The dry stone wall of a 10th century castle and the 14th century tower are the remains of the Treaty of the Pyrenees (1659). Descent towards the typical locality of Cerb\u00e8re. Cami de ronda of the coast, always from cove to cove. Bypass of the Punta de S\u2019arnella and its lighthouse, to the beaches of Port de la Selva. (9 km \u2013 3 hours of walking, elevation gain +: 283 m).\r\n\r\n6th day (2 itineraries proposed) :<\/strong> Hike from Port de la Selva to Cadaques via the Cap Creus GR11 on a wild route crossing the natural park, you will reach the Cap de Creus. Magical place where the Mediterranean gives birth to the Pyrenees. Swept by the wind \u201cLa Tramontane\u201d, the Cap de Creus offers a lunar landscape in which the sea intertwines with its tormented and torn coves like the spectacular \u201cCova de l\u2019Infern\u201d.
