2nd day : Hike from Collioure to Banyuls via Port Vendres and Cap Béar and its unforgettable panorama. Passage to Fort St Elmes located on the heights of Collioure. This Fort is a signal tower built in the 13th century. Descent to Port Vendres, visit to the dynamic fishing and commercial port. Further on, you will discover the Redoute Béar which dominates the entrance to the port, built in the 18th century according to the plans of the architect Vauban. Then, you will arrive at the Béar lighthouse, built in 1904, located 80 meters above the sea. It measures 24 meters high and was built in pink marble from Villefranche. Nestled between Cap Béar and Cap Oullestrell, Paulilles Cove reveals a landscape of contrast between the world of vines and that of the sea. This former industrial wasteland, considered today as one of the most beautiful jewels of the Catalan coast, escaped a vast marina project which was to cover with its elitist luxury the moving traces of Paulilles’ past and destroy the inestimable natural beauty of this place. Now recognized as a “Great Site”, this space welcomes you for a family walk, a moment of relaxation, a coastal getaway, a cultural immersion where all your senses will be awakened! The site hosts a workshop for restoring Catalan boats and a Site House which dedicates a permanent exhibition to the working memory of the place. Itinerary via the Coastal Path to Banyuls sur mer. Installation, dinner and overnight stay at the hotel. (15 km – 5 hours of walking, elevation gain +: 658 m)

4/5th day : Hike from Llança to Port de la Selva. Ascent to the monastery of Sant Père de Rodes. At an altitude of 480 m you will discover the most spectacular panorama of your hike. The monastery of Sant Père de Rodes is a monumental building where the Lombard Romanesque of the 11th century predominates, the construction and decoration of which reveal Carolingian and Arab influences. It was occupied by the Benedictine order. Descent to Port de la Selva. Installation, dinner and overnight stay at the hotel. (15 km – 5 hours of walking, elevation gain +: 607 m).
5/6th day (2 itineraries proposed) : Hike from Port de la Selva to Cadaques via Cap Creus GR11 on a wild route crossing the natural park, you will reach Cap de Creus. Magical place where the Mediterranean gives birth to the Pyrenees. Swept by the wind “La Tramontane”, the Cap de Creus offers a lunar landscape in which the sea intertwines with its tormented and torn coves like the spectacular “Cova de l’Infern”. Via a picturesque path lined with centuries-old dry stone walls, you will arrive at Port Lligat. Passage near Salvador Dali’s villa then descent to Cadaqués which owes its current fame to the great master. Night at the hotel. (23.5 km – 6h30 walk, elevation gain +: 773 m).
