Personal equipment & formalities
Eco-friendly actions for our nautical activities in order to respect the protected environment of the Marine Reserve as well as our equipment:
– 1 swimsuit, 1 towel, beach shoes, 1 liter of water per person, 1 breathable T-shirt made of synthetic fiber or lycra in order to limit the use of sunscreen as much as possible.
– Put on sunscreen before arriving at the kayak base and spread it well. Indeed, all sunscreens have an impact on the environment by suffocating algae and small living organisms while they degrade. However, you will be sailing in an area where the environment is protected, monitored and analyzed. In addition, they stain our equipment that we provide you with very heavily. This requires us to rub the vests with detergent every day to remove them, to increase the use of disinfectant products in order to be able to give them back to you clean and odorless. This leads to additional pollution through the discharge of water loaded with detergents (Ecocert certified), disinfectant (98% biodegradable) and fats from sunscreens. – Finally, we are in a very severe water shortage, and therefore limited in its consumption, which further complicates rinsing and washing when the vests are covered in sunscreens. We thank you for your cooperation and understanding.

Concepts of environment and risky activities: Outdoor sports are exciting and enriching activities but involve risks linked to the natural environment (weather hazards, obstacles, etc.) as well as risks intrinsic to each sporting activity (which vary from “benign” to “strong” depending on the level and type of practices concerned). These risks are particularly high in certain sports known as “in a specific environment” where the use of highly qualified professional supervision is strongly recommended.
Limit of liability of the supervisor: The primary role of the guide or instructor is to reduce risks, without being able to claim to eliminate them completely. This incompressible share of risk, concomitant with any evolution in a natural environment and any notion of adventure, can be the source of situations of discomfort, inconvenience, incidents or even accidents, linked to the specific characteristics of the activity and/or its natural environment of exercise, independently of any fault of the supervisor. This particular dimension must be taken into account before contracting with a professional supervisor; the practitioner must thus assume with full knowledge of the facts his own share of responsibility in the decision to engage in an activity and a natural environment of which he cannot reasonably ignore the objective risks inherent to them.
Precautions and duties of the practitioner towards the supervising professionals and the group: Prior to any activity, it is essential:
– that the practitioner informs his guides or instructors of his physical, psychological and technical profile and of any precautions, restrictions and contraindications that may result from this with regard to the sporting practice
– to take good note of the various information provided by the supervising professionals in order to equip and prepare as best as possible.
During activities on the ground, in order not to compromise your own safety and that of the group, it is crucial:
– to show up with the recommended equipment (if not provided by the supervision)
– to respect the instructions of the guides or instructors
– and not to hesitate to ask for clarification, if in doubt
Minimum age 08 years (discovery course), children will always be accompanied by their parents).

– you are aware of and assume with full knowledge of the risks inherent in the specific environment known as “at risk” that you are going to travel and you undertake not to hold the organizer responsible for these risks. This also applies to beneficiaries and any member of the family.
The safety of the group and yours is everyone’s business, so we will ask you to:
– Follow your instructor’s instructions rigorously without taking any initiatives; who cannot be held responsible for any incidents, accidents or bodily harm that may result.
– Report any health problems (hypoglycemia, asthma, lenses, etc.) or certain traumas that occurred prior to the activity (such as sprains, surgical operations, fragile knee joints, etc.) before the start of the activity
The organizer supervises the activity and also uses independent instructors. Each independent instructor is covered by Professional Civil Liability insurance for their own activities and for the costs incurred by a possible rescue operation.
This insurance does not cover participants for “individual accidents”, we strongly advise each participant to inquire with the insurance of their choice for civil liability insurance and/or individual accident insurance for the practice of outdoor/mountain sports.
Indeed, we cannot replace the individual civil liability of each participant.
The company is insured for civil liability for all the activities it offers and its liability cannot be incurred for activities booked with other service providers.
In the event of a personal injury, the liability of the company and the instructor involved is waived as soon as the victim is taken care of by the competent emergency services, and any hospital treatment will be the responsibility of the accident victim’s personal insurance.
For minors participating in activities and stays, under the supervision of an external organization, the latter is legally responsible for the conditions of participation.
